Description
The Age of Hollywood Glamor was in full swing, but after the stock market crash, economical jewelry reductions were necessary as more women were wearing more jewelry, and trends had shifted from simple to extravagant. Sparkling, rich, looking jewelry was an easy way to make a simple dress look like a million dollars. The Rosette pendant, c. 1920-33 from the jeweler Kohn & Co., contained diamond, pearls, sapphires, and 14 K gold.
