This jewelry is inspired by the artwork of Austrian painter Gustav Klimt, one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement.
He is known for incorporating gold leaf into his highly decorative paintings. The erotic nature of his works was seen as a rebellion against the traditional academic art of his time. His most famous painting is The Kiss.
